Lucas Roh

Executive Chairman & Founder

Mr. Roh founded Hostway in 1998 with the belief that a superior product, combined with excellent customer service and the best IT talent, would produce a company that would emerge as the market leader. As CEO, Mr. Roh is responsible for overall company direction and strategy. Under his leadership, Hostway has grown its customer base to large enterprises as well as hundreds of thousands of small business customers and has been bootstrapped without outside equity investment. Prior to founding Hostway, Mr. Roh was a computer scientist at Argonne National Laboratory where he did pioneering research in the field of compilers and automatic differentiation, and received federal and corporate grants to support the research.  Previously, Mr. Roh had several years of software and hardware engineering experience; he has authored and co-authored more than 20 published academic papers. Chosen by Crain’s Chicago Business as one of their “40 Under 40,” Mr. Roh is also a recipient of the prestigious KPMG Illinois Hi-Tech Award. He received his undergraduate degree in physics from the University of Chicago and a doctorate in computer science from Colorado State University.

John Martis

President & CEO

John Martis joined Hostway in 2006 with over 13 years of leadership in the Internet industry. Prior to becoming President, Mr. Martis served as Hostway’s EVP of North American Operations for 6 years. He was responsible for developing strategies to ensure the company’s solutions met its customers’ ever-evolving business requirements. Previously, Mr. Martis served as Chief Operating Officer of Aplus.Net, an international web hosting company with over 350 employees. He was also the President and COO of American Digital Network, one of the United States’ first Internet Service Providers. Mr. Martis received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering while studying abroad at Edron Academy/ITAM. 

John HanJoo Lee

Co-Founder; EVP, Corporate Development & Strategy; CEO, Hostway India

John HanJoo Lee is a co-founder of Hostway. He is responsible for overall corporate strategy, strategic alliances, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he is in charge of Hostway India. Previously, he has held positions in every department of the company, including leading global marketing and sales and overall P&L for North America. Mr. Lee was born and raised in Korea and immigrated to the United States at age 13. He holds a BA in Biology from the University of Chicago and trained as a molecular biologist prior to co-founding Hostway.

Mark D. Adolph

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Mark D. Adolph joined Hostway in 2010 to lead financial functions and head mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Mr. Adolph served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of WildBlue Communications, a Liberty Media satellite Internet service provider with the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative, Intelsat, DirecTV and Echostar as strategic partners. Prior to WildBlue, Mr. Adolph worked with Cook Inlet Communications, a Native American strategic communications partner,  and Telecom Partners, a private equity firm, rapidly scaling domestic and international companies operationally, developing regulatory strategies, establishing strategic partnerships, raising public and private capital and overseeing merger and acquisition activities in the data center and wireless and communication industry segments.  Mr. Adolph is a member of the American and California Bar Associations.

Todd Benjamin

Vice President of Hosted Services

Todd Benjamin came to Hostway in 2008 with 18 years of executive experience in the technology and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Hostway, he was president and CEO of Rodopi Software, Inc., a provider of next-generation financial and automation software solutions for the Internet industry. Previously, he held executive-level positions in sales, marketing, finance, and corporate development with several software, technology, and service provider organizations. Mr. Benjamin holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from UCLA, as well as a Bachelor of Sciences in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Washington.  

Aaron Hollobaugh

Vice President of Marketing & Communications

Aaron Hollobaugh specializes in developing and leading marketing and communications teams in high tech and cloud computing-focused companies. Prior to his role at Hostway, Mr. Hollobaugh led marketing efforts at Hosting.com as Vice President of Marketing & Communications, helping the company grow from a $12 million web hoster to a recognized industry leader. Previously, he also served as Director of Marketing at NetGain Technologies, one of the southeast's largest and oldest VARs. Mr. Hollobaugh has emerged as a thought leader and resource in the cloud computing marketplace due to his creation and publishing of various studies and surveys, as well as his close work and joint-marketing initiatives with leading manufacturers such as Microsoft, HP, VMware and Cisco. Mr. Hollobaugh holds a Bachelor's Degree from Grinnell College.

Mike Robski

Vice President of Research & Development

Mike Robski is responsible for managing the design, development and maintenance of the internally developed Hostway systems and tools. In this role, he has led the successful design and development of Hostway’s OSS/BSS system; a uniform public API layer to manage all Hostway services; and advanced IaaS and PaaS cloud offerings. As a Certified Scrum Master, he transitioned Hostway’s R&D division to agile development using Scrum. Previously, Mr. Robski was the Manager of Software Development at Fidelity Information Services until 2010, and Director of Software Engineering / Chief Architect at Rodopi Software until 2007, where he was responsible for implementing NGOSS (eTOM, SID) design principles, development procedures, coding standards and peer reviews. He is a member of Mensa and the Scrum Alliance.
